The Send command allows you to send a collection of images or thumbnails as attachments to an email message. Select the images you want to send and choose Send from the File menu. The following dialog will be displayed:
The Send Dialog
If you want to send only the thumbnails, check the Send thumbnails only option. Otherwise check the Send original images option. The dialog will show you the approximate transfer times at various connection speeds. This will give you an idea of how long it will take to send the email out and, more importantly, how long the recipient(s) will take to receive the email. Please remember that people with slow Internet connections can be severely inconvenienced by large incoming messages. You should also take into account the fact that many recipients will have a limited mailbox capacity on their email server. The Send dialog shows you how big the attachments will be in total, including the size increase caused by the Base64 encoding that is used by MIME-compliant email clients when sending non-textual attachments.
When you are ready to send the images, click the Send button. PMIO will attempt to launch your email client using the MAPI system which is part of Windows. If this fails to work, you may not have MAPI installed or there may be something wrong with your system configuration. If you cannot fix the problem you will have to send the images manually.
Note: The email client is launched in a separate program thread which means you can continue to work in PMIO while it is sending the email.
