This page contains settings that let you change the appearance of the thumbnail panel on all browsers. You can use it to apply a texture to the panel, and customise the selection colour and colour of the thumbnail label text.
Preferences - Panel Page
- File - Enter in this box the file name of a file containing a texture, and this texture will be applied to the thumbnail panel on all browsers. You can use the [...] button to browse for a suitable file. The drop-down list maintains a list of recently used file names.
- Preview shows a preview of what the texture will look like when it is applied.
- Scale allows you to scale the texture's size. It is specified as a percentage of the texture's original size.
- Filter allows you to choose the resizing method which is used to scale the texture.
- H-Flip if checked, the texture will be flipped horizontally (i.e. mirrored).
- V-Flip if checked, the texture will be flipped vertically (i.e. upside-down).
- Greyscale if checked, any colour in the original texture will be removed before applying your chosen colour.
- Colour allows you to choose a colour to be applied to the thumbnail panel’s texture.
- Colour intensity allows you to adjust the intensity of the colour that will be applied to the texture. If the slider is all the way to the left, no colour will be added. If the slider is all the way to the right, the colour will completely replace the texture and you will get a solid block of colour.
- Selection Colour changes the colour of selected thumbnails. The current colour is shown in the square to the right of the button.
- Text Colour changes the colour of the thumbnail text. The current colour is shown in the square to the right of the button.
