The Preferences Dialog

The Preferences dialog (F10) is where most of PMIO's user-definable settings are presented. PMIO has many settings which can be used to change the way various parts of the program work. All of these settings have sensible and usable defaults, so you don't need to understand them all straight away and you can ignore the settings that you don't care about. The dialog is split into several pages which you can select by clicking on the leftmost pane:

General Page
Folder Page
Panel Page
JPEG Page
Slideshow Page
TWAIN Page
Applications Page
Advanced Page

There are several buttons which are always visible on the dialog:

Revert	Restores the page from the last saved state.
Use Defaults	Loads the page from the default settings.
Set As Defaults Folder page only	Sets the state of the page as the default for all new folders.
OK	Applies your changes and closes the dialog.
Cancel	Closes the dialog without applying your changes.
Apply	Applies your changes without closing the dialog.
Help	Displays this help page.
