You can open images for viewing by selecting their thumbnails in a browser and double-clicking a thumbnail (or by choosing Open or Open With from the Image menu).
Open
When you choose Open (or double-click a thumbnail), PMIO will behave as if you have actually chosen the topmost item from the Open With menu. By default, this opens the image(s) in the Internal Viewer, but this can be changed on the Applications page of Preferences (F10).
Open With
When you choose one of the items from the Open With menu, PMIO will launch the associated application and pass the file name of the image as a parameter. What happens next depends on the application. The Open With menu can be configured on the Applications page of Preferences (F10).
